What Does the Bible Say About Peace in the Home

Finding peace is easier said than done. Whether you're dealing with job stress, tense relationships, financial woes, or any other obstacle that may come your way, it can be difficult to be at peace when weathering strife. And if you're faced with more than one challenge, well, then it can understandably feel like too much for one person to handle. That's when the Bible can be used as an aid to overcome any hardship you may encounter in life. There are many Bible verses about peace that highlight the deep desire that the Lord has for His followers and for the world, in general, to know what peace, happiness, and joy truly are — even in times of trouble.

When you feel overwhelmed and are struggling to find the peace that you so desperately seek in your life, take a step back, breathe, and open yourself to God. He has shown time and time again that he seeks most of all to bring everyone comfort. As it says in Colossians 1:20, "[Jesus] brought peace through the blood of his cross." And his death showed God's followers to believe in something bigger than themselves.

But when you get caught up in everyday stresses and forget, these religious quotes about peace will help you remember what good God has in store for you. No matter the struggle that has been placed before you, God has an answer. In the darkest days, He has the light for us.
